The Singapore Chamber of Commerce (Hong Kong) (SingCham HK) is organising a luncheon talk on "Why is ESG Integration Crucial for Your Business?" as part of our SingCham HK first Speaker Series in year 2024. The talk is on 25 January 2024 (Thursday) from 12 noon to 2 pm at Conrad Hotel.

Synopsis:

Fireside Chat with the following speakers:-


Mr Wilson Chin, Head of Demand Generation Marketing of Aspire, will share about their contributions to ESG goals by reducing paper usage, lowering energy consumption, enhancing operational efficiency, enabling data-driven decision making, promoting supplier collaboration and improving reporting and transparency.


Mr Gregory Van, CEO of Endowus, will cover topics on the emerging trends we observe in terms of ESG/Sustainable investing by individuals and institutions, how one can incorporate that into their investment portfolios and how Endowus enables individual investors to gain access to the best in class ESG, sustainable and climate funds from top fund managers through a digitalised wealth platform at the lowest cost.


Ms Celina Chan, Head of Sustainable Finance of OCBC Hong Kong, will share OCBC's net zero target and commitment to financing their clients to transit to net zero: OCBC HK's sustainable finance strategy, products and services to support clients and portfolio companies' transition efforts.

    Celina Chan heads up Sustainable Finance for OCBC Bank in Hong Kong. OCBC is the second-largest bank in Singapore and Southeast Asia, and an early mover in directing finance to support our clients in generating positive impact for a sustainable world. OCBC has committed to S$50 billion or HK$300 billion of sustainable finance by 2025.

    Celina specialised in impact finance when she was awarded a scholarship by the University of Oxford in 2018 to complete an MBA in this space. Celina then contributed to pioneering innovative ESG solutions, including the world’s first Sustainability-Linked Bond for a real estate developer (2021), as well as Hong Kong’s first sustainable finance in the logistics industry (2022).
