The Singapore Chamber of Commerce (Hong Kong) and Endowus are co-organising a luncheon talk on "Singaporean Pioneers: Scaling in Hong Kong Through Innovation" on 11 October 2023 (Wednesday) from 12 noon to 2 pm at Conrad Hotel Admiralty. The guest speakers are Mr Gregory Van, CEO of Endowus, Ms Lareina Wang, Head of Digital and Innovation, Institutional Banking Group of DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited and Ms Karen Lin, Head of Hong Kong Goods Business of Carousell. Mr Kevin Huang, COO of South China Morning Post will be the moderator for the talk.

    Gregory Van

    CEO of Endowus

    Greg is passionate about making investing accessible and at the lowest achievable cost for all investors. As CEO, he is responsible for driving the company’s growth and strategic execution. He started his career in investment banking at UBS, advising and fundraising for private equity and venture capital firms in the Asia Pacific region. Greg then joined Grab in its early days and was part of the pioneer team that launched the firm’s digital payments services across Southeast Asia.

    Greg was recently awarded the CEO of the Year for the Singapore market at Asia Asset Management’s Best of the Best Awards 2022. He holds a BA in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

    Lareina Wang is responsible for managing the wholesale digital business of Institutional Banking Group, including P&L management, digital product and platform development as well as delivering best-in-class digital customer journeys across Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area. Lareina is an active FinTech practitioner. She currently serves as Board Member of FinTech Association of Hong Kong and is also a member of the Banking and Finance Training Board for the Vocational Training Council.

    Prior to DBS Hong Kong, Lareina also held senior digital and strategy roles for HSBC UK and HSBC Hong Kong, as well as Barclays Bank and Ogilvy London. Lareina holds a Master of Science degree in International Marketing and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature.

    Born in Malaysia, Kevin graduated from Pace University in Computer Information Systems and has been based in Hong Kong for over two decades.
